02What it is
Ghost — we install it. We did not write it.
Ghost is a publishing CMS for newsletters and blogs. Members, paid posts, a writing UI that does not feel like WordPress. It is not a brochure builder and it is not WooCommerce.
We install Ghost on a box we run. Ghost Foundation wrote it. We did not. Setup is the fee; hosting is the plan; the Ghost licence (if you use Pro features the wrong way) stays yours to understand — we install the open-source app.
03The stack
We stand it up. You own the data.
If you need ThemeForest newspaper chrome, that is the WordPress shop. If you need a company site with five pages, Ghost is the wrong tool.
UK senders still need SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the domain that mails. Ghost will not invent that. We will quote DNS if you want us to do it.
Members and Stripe billing are Ghost’s product. We wire them when you have a Stripe account. We do not pretend a newsletter is a CRM.
