Directus is a headless CMS over a real database. Editors get an app. The site, the app, the warehouse get an API. Useful when WordPress is the wrong shape because the site is not the product.
We install Directus. Monospace Inc. and the Directus project wrote it. We did not.
03The stack
We stand it up. You own the data.
You still need a front end. We will quote that as a build, or point Directus at the front you already have.
Permissions in Directus are the product. If you cannot name roles, we will not fill the database with public collections and hope.
