15Trade · Case study
Local trade site — services, areas covered, reviews, and a clear call path. We delivered the small website as a live conversion surface for phone-led enquiries.
01The delivered site
The layout we shipped for this project — desktop first, with a phone view where we have one.

02The brief
What we were hired to fix
Calder Plumbing needed a small website that did one commercial job: phone-led enquiries. Local trade site — services, areas covered, reviews, and a clear call path.
The constraint was not “more pages”. It was a trade audience who would leave if the next step was vague. We treated that as the brief, not a later optimisation.
We shipped a finished small website — copy, layout and conversion path — so the team could run phone-led enquiries from a URL they own.
03What we delivered
We built Calder Plumbing as delivered work, not a concept. Structure, proof and the phone-led enquiries path were designed together, then implemented as a maintainable front end.
Every block on the page has a job: explain the offer, show evidence, and move a real person to phone-led enquiries. If it did not do that, it did not ship.
Home, services, proof, contact — no CMS maze. Each page has a job and a way back to an enquiry.
Areas served, reviews, prices where they help, and photography that matches the trade.
Phone, quote and visit CTAs stay visible. The site is a receptionist, not a brochure rack.
Copy and images sit where a busy owner can update them without a rebuild every quarter.
04Outcomes
Visitors can complete phone-led enquiries without a sitemap. The action sits where the offer is.
Calder Plumbing reads as a trade small website — not a reused template with the logo swapped.
The same structure takes a new offer, SKU or workflow without starting again.
Next step
A short call with the person who would run it — not a sales script.
