04Resources · Workshop

Cursor for product teams.

A half-day session for teams who already have licences but no shared working method — so the tooling stops being eight private habits and starts being a process.

01The session

Hands-on, in your repository.

We work on your actual backlog rather than a toy project, because generic examples teach generic habits.

What we cover

  • 01Project context: rules files, conventions and how to stop repeating yourself to the model
  • 02Prompting for a diff you can review, rather than a wall of new files
  • 03Scoping a task so the output is small enough to reason about
  • 04When to reach for an agent and when to write it yourself
  • 05Review workflow: what gets read closely, what gets skimmed, what gets rejected
  • 06The failure modes we see most, and how to spot them early

Who it is for

  • Teams where licences arrived faster than any agreement on how to use them
  • Groups split between two very productive people and two quiet sceptics
  • Delivery leads who can no longer say what “reviewed” means
  • Whoever is accountable when something goes wrong in production

02

What changes afterwards.

The concrete output is a short written working agreement — a page or two your team actually wrote, covering how tasks are scoped, what must be reviewed by a human, and what is never delegated to a model.

The cultural output matters more. Sceptics tend to leave with a use case they trust, and the enthusiasts leave with a clearer sense of where their speed is borrowed against future pain.

03

How we prepare.

We ask for repository access beforehand so the examples are yours rather than ours, and we agree two or three real tasks from your backlog to work through live.

The working agreement and session notes follow within two working days. It is a workshop, not a certification — nobody leaves with a badge.
